Family and Friendship Relationships with Martha and Mary 

Our Journey Continues

As we come to the story of Martha and Mary in the middle of their living in friendship with Jesus, we leave their story in the middle of our living in friendship with Jesus.  It is an ever continuing journey towards being with Jesus in lovingly friendship forever.  Martha and Mary are now with Jesus and even Martha is sitting with Mary beside Jesus without worry nor is Martha anxious about anything. This is surely the place we wish to be at peace with Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit.

We are these, and not yet.  Our journey is continuing as yet as we travel the road where Jesus is leading us to an ever deeper relationship and loving friendship.  This is a journey for us where Jesus is traveling with us and is balancing the Martha and Mary parts of us in loving harmony.  Jesus is uniting our differences for a peaceful living in love by being Christ for each other.  We are Christ's hands and his feet - today.  We are walking where Christ cannot walk as a human being today on this, our earth within our world.  We are loving more and more each day those we pray with, those we live with, those we work with, those we go to school with, those we associate with, and those we meet on the road that leads to all that is Christ, Jesus - the better part!
